The Center will focus on international reputation and influence through two strategies: (1) establish a strategic alliance with leading teams and research centers in advanced countries (such as the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, France) and conclude a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to conduct interviews and research, (2) make a large number of publications about those key technologies on international confereces in the name of Hi-GEM to promote recognition and demonstrate technological capabilities.
Hi-GEM has also invited Lih-Juann Chen (Scholar of Academia Sinica), Prof. Yet-Ming Chiang (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT), Prof. Atsuo Yamada (The University of Tokyo), and Prof. Martin Winter (University of Münster, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, WWU) to advise on academic research and international cooperation. In addition to inviting scholars from international research centers to Hi-GEM for three months each year, we are also able to jointly publish papers with researchers from these centers.
